Mt. Pinos Snow Trip 2007

On February 24, 2007 the Scouts going on Mt. Pinos arrived at Saugus High to get into the vehicle they were riding in. Once they were in the vehicles we drove to Mt. Pinos to start hiking. When we arrived at the trailhead we took the trailhead photo and started hiking. After we reached the top we made camp and started playing in the snow. All day Scouts were throwing snowballs or riding sleds. When it came time for dinner everyone was happy when it was carne asada.

In the morning we packed up, had a Scout’s Own and sledded down to the cars. Once at the cars we put our packs into the cars and drove down to Jack in the Box for breakfast.
